Luke Orlan – “Sideways”

Hailing from London, this singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist grew up surrounded by music, as it runs in the family – he is the cousin of L.A.-based singer/guitarist Ray Goren. He’s worked as a producer and engineer at the legendary Townhouse Studio’s in London and travelled extensively to experience genres from pop to rock. He released his debut “Kaleidoscoping” in 2020.

Getting caught up in everyday life is easy to do, but his new single can help to find the spark to move on and move up. He managed to wrap that positivity in a charming, melodic tune. Slightly touched by 70s ballads, the smooth guitar plucks, mellow rhythm and his velvety vocals all blend together in this earstroking song, that makes you want to move sideways and go better your life.

Laura Valentine – “Falling For You”

Raised in the Spanish sunshine of Madrid, this London-based singer and songwriter was born into a musical family. She found her singing voice at a young age. For 6 years she was a member of the gospel choir Spirit To All until she moved to the UK to study at London’s Academy of Contemporary Music. Inspired by Tori Kelly, Sara Bareilles and Janelle Monáe, she debuted with “Desires” in 2018.

In these dark times we need a feel-good pop song to strengthen our spirits and her new single delivers that in spades. Her second single, three years after her debut, arrives just in time. With a sprightly electro rhythm and a warming LGBT love story, this delightful earworm feels like a much needed hug. And with her stunning, endearing vocals, this lavish tune is both inspirational and uplifting.

Masato & Friends ft. C3 – “Ode To Joy”

Based in Tokyo, this multi-talented composer, pianist, vocalist and art director studied classical piano as a child. After graduating from the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, he worked as an account executive. Aged 27 he self-taught himself piano and won many eminent competitions. Currently he composes music for the media, as well as for other artists, in wide-ranging genres from classical to pop, jazz and EDM.

7 singers, 4 musicians and 14 dancers from around the world came together through a crowdsourcing site and created something extraordinary. Based on Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, Masato conceived an incredibly joyous, funkalicious groove. And with the stunning lead vocals of C3 navigating the exuberant horns and lively piano, this worldwide, Internet-based musical project is an astonishing sonic achievement.

Levy – “Seeing Red”

Born in Germany, this classically educated, London-based singer, musician and songwriter gained experience in musical theatre, before she went on to study at BIMM London. She’s a keys player, vocal arranger and session vocalist for live bands as well as studio sessions at Abbey Road Studios. Likened to Maroon 5 and Carole King, she debuted her neo-soul-dipped pop with “Shoulder” in 2019.

Expertly building layers of funk, soul and even a touch of jazz on a solid, contemporary pop foundation, her new single is a wonderful auditory treat. From the ascending electric guitar to the smooth keys and the rousing rhythm all finding their aural home in the spirited chorus, it’s her meticulous, bewitching vocals, enhancing every note, that turn this rich, euphonious ruby into a priceless sonic gem.

KTEE – “Push And Pull”

Singing since the moment she could talk, this Austrian pop singer and songwriter, grew up training her voice by recording song after song on her mother’s tape recorder. She went on to study at the University of Vienna, where she continued shaping her singing skills. She found a love for songwriting while living in Ireland. Influenced by Jessie J, she debuted her retro sound on “Rock Your Life” in 2017.

Creating her own neon world, you’re welcomed to her new single by rich, enigmatic synths and her refreshing, polished voice. With an ascending beat pumping its vast energy into the tune, it leads to an infectious, Katy Perry-reminiscent chorus, which has a distinct sing-along value. Blending modern electronic R&B and luscious soul, this trio of multi-instrumental musicians and producers is built on a great range of influences and musical abilities. Hailing from the UK, James Brander, Jack Bradbury and Harry Wright weave a vast spectrum of textures into their melodies and add a compelling lead vocal. They debuted their vivid, infectious sound with the single “Lift” in 2020.
