Over the past two decades this multitalented artist has been mostly known for being one half of soul duo Myron & E. Having grown up with music, he started collecting records and DJing as a teenager. Since then he founded electro-boogie duo The Pendletons, collaborated with The Soul Surfers and duetted with Gizelle Smith. Pursuing a solo career, he released his single “Closer To The Spirit” in 2017.
As the first taste of his upcoming debut album “A Modern Love”, which is due to drop on May 10th, this track takes some classic soul, adds a generous dollop of 70s funk and mixes it all together with some modern spices. With a bracing beat, vintage wah wah guitars and an abundance of sparkling horns hugging his passionate and vivacious vocals, this is a funkalicious slice of scrumptious soul pie.
