This award winning Irish singer and songwriter started honing her craft at just 8 years old. Her career started at 17 as a songwriter for other artists, like Britney Spears, Bebe Rexha and Niall Horan. In 2007 she won an ASCAP award for Jojo’s “Too Little Too Late”. Drawing inspiration from Lauryn Hill and Alicia Keys, she debuted her solo sound in 2017 fusing gritty 90s R&B with 70s storytelling.
Taking a trip down the soul side, her new single starts off with the vulnerable approach of just an electric guitar and her preeminent voice. With a swelling melodious body of a lively piano and a sprightly gospel choir broadening the multitude of harmonious layers, it finds its crescendo with her compelling, soulful vocals and an injection of vibrant brass, making it easy to love this tune again and again.
