The Terri Green Project – “Night To Remember”

A seasoned veteran of the music scene, this legendary, multi-talented singer and songwriter first hit the charts in 1997 with the song “Oh La La La” as part of duo 2 Eivissa. With an awe-inspiring resume of multiple worldwide charting dance tracks and over a 1000 songs written, now she’s joined forces with producer and saxophonist Torsten Abrolat to create a genre-spanning mix of groovy sounds.

Their new single first hangs up a glitterball over a brightly lit dancefloor, as the ear-tingling 70s wah wah guitars, bouncy beat and snazzy strings create a vintage-dipped disco banger. Inspired by the sounds of the late 70s/early 80s from bands like Chic and Shalamar, they’ve added modern production to a funkalicious retro trip down Disco Lane and made this a tune filled with neon vibrancy.

Stealth ft. The Dap Kings – “Black Heart”

Hailing from Birmingham, this British singer and songwriter finds his influence in the rich and emotive soundscapes of blues and soul. Songs from his 2016 debut EP “Intro” have been used in the TV series “Suits” and “Black Ink Crew”. Inspired by Howlin’ Wolf, Etta James and Bill Whithers, he utilized the dark tone of his voice and personal lyrics to produce an one-of-a-kind soulful sound.

The addition of the blazing brass of the legendary Dap Kings to his vintage-soaked, soul-dripping vocals is a match made in funky heaven. The buoyant bass line, sanguine rhythm and the euphonious horns melt together into a sweet-sounding and intoxicating groove, while the colorful, retro shine of his voice adds a touch of rhapsodic retro glamour to this extravagant portion of glitzy soul.
