In The Spotlight

Christee Palace – “Danger”

Born as Christie Palazzolo, this Canadian singer and songwriter came from a large family of musicians. She kicked off her career achieving nationwide success with her debut EP “Alive Today” in 2016. After a move to Toronto to pursue her dream, she released her first single under her new moniker in 2018 called “Harden My Heart”. She also opened for Sean Kingston and Walk Off The Earth.

Starting with a contemporary pop shimmer and leading to a potent chorus, her new single skillfully maneuvers over the emotive scales. Teasing her forthcoming EP, expected to drop in the Summer, she narrates the relatable story about knowing a relationship is going to end and not end well. Merging an abundance of sweltering synths with a bouncy beat and crisp vocals, this is dangerously catchy.
