Jenevieve – “Baby Powder”

Hailing from Miami, this compelling R&B singer and songwriter started her career as a dancer. Now based in Los Angeles, she’s focusing on her music career. Working together with Jean Benz and influenced by greats such as Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Prince, she’s added her own juicy flavors to create a fresh sound of her own. She released her debut single “Medallion” earlier this year.

Multi-faceted, multi-layered and multi-alluring, her new single fuses a plethora of musical genres in one honey-smooth tune. With a velvety, laid-back melody from the mellow rhythm, warm bassline and breezy piano, she manages to dip modern R&B in creamy vintage funk and with her hypnotic, soul-soaked voice seducing your ears, this jam is flirtatious, enchanting and utterly irresistible.

Naked Six – “Outside Looking In”

Seb Byford, Tom Witts and Callum Witts got together in 2015 to create their own style of contemporary rock ‘n’ roll. Taking pieces from rock, grunge, blues and a 70s punk attitude, these  Manchester-based British lads deliver their unique sound in high-octane live performances. They debuted with the 2017 single “Can’t Trust The News” and their songs are regularly featured on BBC Introducing.

Sonically ascending through the punchy beats and slick guitars, their new single is an emotionally-laden, anthemic powerhouse. Taken from their album “Lost Art Of Conversation”, it’s an intricate amalgamation of 90s, Oasis-like indie-rock and a dollop of 80s vintage touches. And with Seb’s emotive vocals, reflective lyrics and an ear-pleasing sax solo, it’s dreamy, imposing and exceptional.
