Total Hip Replacement – “Lost In Thought”

The oldest members of this collective of musicians, hailing from Aarhus in Denmark, have been playing together since they were 14 years old. Through meeting other musicians in their hometown, they grew to the six-piece powerhouse they are today. They’ve performed their dusty reggae and funky soul blend all around the world, as well as Danish festivals such as Smukfest, G! and SPOT.

Kicking off with an easygoing reggae rhythm, their latest single is an ingenious melting pot of musical delights. With a breezy vibe from the guitars, keys and a touch of brass, the melody is gently bopping along. Radiating some warm summer sun, they add more horns as the cherry on the delicious sonic cake. And with their mellow, soul-dipped vocals, you’ll be thinking about this jam for a while.
