RIIKI – “Good Times”

Hailing from Welllington and born as Raquel Abolins-Reid, this multi-talented singer, songwriter, choreographer and dancer has been making her mark for years, going from mall talent shows to her high-school band, Retrospect, making it to the finals of the Smokefree Rockquest in 2016. Influenced by artists such as Jeff Buckley and Jorja Smith, she debuted her solo moniker with “One Day” in 2019.

Written by herself and capturing the whirlwind that was 2020 on the cusp of a brand new year, her latest single focuses on the message that after rough and stormy days, good times must follow. With a hypnotic beat and mild bass plucks she enchants your ears ready to be caressed by her beguiling voice. Myles Sanko – “Rainbow In Your Cloud”

Born in Ghana, this multi-talented singer, songwriter and musician, dubbed “the love child of soul”, moved to the UK aged 16. He worked as a chef, but quit his job to focus on busking with his jazz improv band Bijoumiyo. With his rich and colorful blend of pop, jazz and soul tones, he released his debut EP “Born In Black & White” in 2013 and also went on to support Gregory Porter on his 2014 European tour.

Starting with an intriguing funky drum and jazzy organ, his latest single is a highly skillful marriage of the delights of music. Taken from his upcoming album “Memories Of Love”, expected on March 12th, 2021, he added cheery electric guitar strums, while his remarkable, classic soul-soaked vocals take center-stage. And with an absolutely delicious jazz piano solo, this jam is an exhilarating fusion.
