Eddie & The Getaway – “Silver Lining”

Having met aged 13 in the smouldering heat of Arizona, Eddie Eberle and drummer Christian “Champ” Champion have been chasing the getaway lifestyle ever since. Also active with extreme sports, Eddie likes to be riding dirt-bikes or surfing. Inspired by bands like The Killers and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, they fuse punchy pop/rock with modern country and debuted with “Drive Away” in 2020.

Exploding with stadium-sized roaring guitars and potent drums, their new single certainly knows how to make an entrance. While staying true to the legacy of thrilling rock anthems in the chorus, the rich verses are more indie-pop touched, brewing a delicious sonic concoction. Lyrically encouraging to see through the tough times to find the good, this 2000s-styled rock jam is pure energetic TNT.
