In The Spotlight

Jeff Beadle – “Shadows”

This Canadian singer/songwriter was born into a music loving family and their encouragement led to him starting to write songs aged 12. He began to perform locally and creating various bands in High School. Continuing to write and perform, he took on a day job as a pool cleaner. Pouring his experiences into his lyrics and folk-inspired melodies, he debuted with “The Huntings End” in 2014.

Tackling his own struggles with anxiety, his new single shines a light on the shadows we all carry with us. With a vibrant rhythm and compelling guitars forging quite a poppy melody, he enriches the sound with mild touches of folk. And despite his dynamic vocal harmonies exploring the different levels of his anxiety and finding a willingness to let it go, this tune becomes a thrilling, foot-tapping jam.
