Born in Portland, OR to musician parents, this L.A.-based singer and songwriter grew up enveloped by a variety of music, ranging from classic rock to R&B and hip-hop. After teaching herself to play piano by ear, she began writing her own material aged 10. Influenced by R&B legends Lauryn Hill, Aaliyah and Snoh Aalegra, she blended both classic as contemporary elements into her own style.
