Jeff Beadle – “Shadows”

This Canadian singer/songwriter was born into a music loving family and their encouragement led to him starting to write songs aged 12. He began to perform locally and creating various bands in High School. Continuing to write and perform, he took on a day job as a pool cleaner. Pouring his experiences into his lyrics and folk-inspired melodies, he debuted with “The Huntings End” in 2014.

Tackling his own struggles with anxiety, his new single shines a light on the shadows we all carry with us. With a vibrant rhythm and compelling guitars forging quite a poppy melody, he enriches the sound with mild touches of folk. And despite his dynamic vocal harmonies exploring the different levels of his anxiety and finding a willingness to let it go, this tune becomes a thrilling, foot-tapping jam.

Vella – “Rumors”

Born in Tampa, FL as Gabriella Valdes, this powerhouse singer and songwriter owns a vocal prowess way beyond her youthful years. Describing herself as the ‘love child of Amy Winehouse and Janis Joplin‘, she started to make sonic waves on the Internet and rapidly amassed millions of followers. She debuted her dynamic voice, which ranges from roaring to falsetto with ease, on “I See Red” in 2020.

Cooking up a tasty brew of nostalgia, with a pinch of soul, a dash of blues and seasoned with spicy attitude, her new single is a red-hot and steamy dish. Accompanied by dramatic 60s-styled violins and a plucky rhythm, she first lures you in with powerful temptation, before launching her booming vocals into the chorus with impassioned tenacity. With fiery zest, this jam is an audile steamroller.
