In The Spotlight

SPINN – “People Should Know Better”

Hailing from the musical breeding ground Liverpool, this four-piece British band has taken the indie-pop scene by storm. Consisting of Johnny Quinn, Andrew Power, Sean McLachlan and Louis O’Reilly, they love performing at festivals like Reading & Leeds, as well as playing sold-out headline shows in the UK and Japan. Influenced by The Smiths and The Cure, they debuted with “Home” in 2017.

Lyrically making a political observation about the UK governments handling of the country these past couple of years, their new single underlines their frustration with a fiery indie-pop tune. Taken from their upcoming album “Outside Of The Blue”, expected on February 4th, it’s the reverberating beat, skillful bass riffs and virulent electric guitars that wraps their message in shiny indie-pop vibes.
