Cristóvam – “Golden Days”

Born in warm sunlight of the Azores Islands of Portugal, this authentic singer and songwriter grew up surrounded by music. His grandfather was a true radio pioneer, who left a massive record collection. Immersed in the music by Dire Straits, Pink Floyd and Supertramp, his passion grew. Inspired by organic songwriters like Ray Lamontagne and Bob Dylan, he debuted with “Walk In The Rain” in 2016.

Recollecting an easy-going, youthful spontaneity, his new single is emitting airy, sunlit hues. Proving that you don’t need much to create something of pure beauty, at first it’s just fresh, acoustic guitars and his comforting vocals that relay the nostalgic story. They’re later joined by a slightly more upbeat vibe from the mellow drums, encapsulating both yore and the springtime promise of things to come.

Franki August – “Kinda Sorta Maybe”

Born in South Africa and raised in New Zealand, this emerging singer and songwriter grew up surrounded by music. Listening to a wide range of artists like Bob Dylan, Tracy Chapman and The Rolling Stones opened up her musical world. She spent time as a drummer in her school band, but found her love of storytelling and the guitar. She released her debut “Wouldn’t Change A Thing” in 2021.

Narrating an emotional story about the jittery feeling when you fall in love and have to let fate take over, her new single gives an easy-going melody a little bit of grit. Blending a classic folk-pop ballad with a touch of country, this full-bodied tune effortlessly fuses with her emotive, gravelly vocals. Taking the listener on a sonic journey, you’re kinda, sorta, definitely going to love this lush jam.
