Born and raised in Philadelphia, this singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist started singing in choirs in middle school and eventually went to Berklee College Of Music. She’s been touring all over the country as part of bands such as Turkuaz and Chicano Batman. Influenced by Sarah Vaughan, Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin, she released her debut “The 45 Homestead Project” in 2014.
Instantly getting our attention with an intriguing beat and alluringly fresh piano chords, her new single is a magical melodic ride. Taken from her upcoming album “This Life”, expected on June 3rd, the tune unfolds with an easygoing vibe, which blends jazz and pop with a touch of soul. And with her seductive and enticing vocals and the addition of some classic horns, this spellbinding groove is truly alive.
