In The Spotlight

Oliver Pesch – “That’ll Be It”

Hailing from Rotterdam, this Dutch singer, songwriter and guitarist wrote his first song aged 11. He started studying at the Rockacademie in Tilburg aged 16 and toured internationally with his band Yasgur. Going solo in 2019, he went on to open for artists like Novastar and The Proclaimers. Inspired by Jackson Browne, James Taylor and Carole King, he released his debut “Mesopotamia” in 2022.

Borrowing from the rich legacy of 70s Americana and the sunlit West Coast vibes of yesteryear, his new single is a breezy groove with a bit of zing. Taken from his upcoming debut album “Kid With The Dice”, expected on March 24th, it’s the retro bounce of the drums, mellow guitar and futuristic effects that build a bridge between the past and the now. And with his superb vocals, this tune is surely it.
