NERIAH – “Falling 4 Somebody”

Born and raised in sunny Los Angeles, this rising singer and songwriter wrote her first song at five years young and spent most of her time singing. Since then she’s been honing her sound by writing three songs a day. She’s also headlined at famous venues such as The Troubadour and The Peppermint Club. Inspired by Julia Michaels, Halsey and Dua Lipa, she released her debut single “Loner” in 2020.

Lyrically coming to terms with the end of a relationship in which you stayed longer than you should, her new single gives a bit of sonic positivity to an emotional situation. Starting with a mellow soundscape of mellifluent keys and her enchanting voice, the song soon sparks up with a lively 80s-dipped beat and glowing electric guitars and encapsulates the maudlin breakup tale in melodic hope.
