In The Spotlight

Sunny Luwe – “Fly Like A Bird”

Hailing from the Gold Coast, this Australian singer and songwriter with Dutch/Aboriginal roots was born as Dani Teveluwe. Initially working as a primary school teacher, she decided to take the leap into music. Initially releasing music under her own name, she recently adopted a new moniker. Inspired by artists like Nancy Sinatra, Bill Withers and Alicia Keys, she debuted with “Weight Off” in 2021.

Start your engine, turn the top down on your convertible and begin cruising down the highway on a sundrenched, summer’s roadtrip. From the very first note her new single conjures up pure, retro-infused radiance. Taking inspiration from the 60s, 70s and a touch of 90s, it’s the sparkling keys, bright rhythm and her perky, soulful vocals that give this sunny groove a lustrous vintage vibe.
