Born on Rhode Island, USA and raised in Quebec City, this Canadian singer and songwriter grew up in a musical family with a blues musician father and an artist mother. She studied jazz at CEGEP in Montreal and got a BA in jazz vocals. As well as performing at various festivals, she opened for Rag’N’Bone Man and P!nk. Inspired by Marvin Gaye and Joni Mitchell, she debuted with “Habit” in 2017.
Making a statement about trying to move on from always placing other people’s needs above your own, her new single trades the R&B of her previous singles for an indie-rock sound.
