Growing up in Kilburn, North-West London, this British singer, songwriter and rapper started his musical journey aged 8. Already writing lyrics with his friends, he began performing at youth programs such as The Roundhouse. Injecting an infectious energy and positivity, he cultivated a blend of hiphop and indie. Inspired by Sampha, Loyle Carner and Tom Misch, he debuted with “Ameroux” in 2018.

Written to remind us to trust in ourselves and not get lost in the peer pressure of always chasing money, his new single puts what really matters in life over materialistic things. Padding his unique sound with luxuriant textures of sunlit soul, the tune start with summery brass and bouncy beat, before he joins in with a refreshing rap. Lauren Cimorelli – “Lockbox”

Hailing from California and now based in Nashville, this singer, songwriter and pianist is one of 11 children. She started writing songs and playing piano at the age of 5 and performing aged 9. Together with her sisters she forms the successful pop band Cimorelli since 2007 and toured all over the world. Inspired by Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey, she released her solo debut “The Rain” in 2018.

The second in a music video series telling a whole story track by track and leading to the release of her new album “Please Stop Breaking My Heart”, expected on February 3rd, this single explores the confusion that she felt aged 20 about what she should be doing in life. With a complex instrumental layering creating an infectious pop bop, it’s her radiant vocals that turn this tune into sonic sunshine.

Jake Clark – “Worst Enemy”

Hailing from California, this young singer, songwriter and actor began his career in 2017, uploading covers to his YouTube channel. A year later he competed on The Talent Show on the YouTube channel Brat TV, reaching the semi-finals. He’s acted in “To The Beat!: Back To School” in 2020 and auditioned for American Idol 19 in 2021. Inspired by artists such as Lauv, he debuted with “The Drive” in 2018.

Tackling the relatable topic of feeling lonely and insecure, his new single confronts his overwhelming self-doubt. Enveloping the emotional lyrics with a charming minimal melody, the tune starts with just an acoustic guitar, but is later joined by crisp keys and an mellow rhythm. And with his smooth and emotive vocals stroking the notes, this ear-catching song is elegant, charismatic and welcoming.

Born in Congo and raised in Toronto, this Canadian singer and songwriter grew up in two different cultural worlds. She always knew that she wanted to be a singer and spent her childhood finding out how to make that happen. As a songwriter she had a song featured on Jennifer Hudson’s 2014 album “JHUD”. Inspired by Rihanna, P!nk and Drake, she debuted with “DCMO (Don’t Count Me Out)” in 2018.

Expertly blending vivid retro-pop with sparkling R&B and a zesty dose of hiphop, her spicy new single truly has it all. Brimming with positivity coming from feeling the best about yourself, the confident lyrics are enriched by the funkalicious melody. Based in Los Angeles, this singer and songwriter spent her childhood growing up in London, Beijing, Sydney and Kuala Lumpur. Born to French and Spanish parents, she was exposed to a wide range of cultural and musical influences. Initially signed to Mark Ronson’s label, Zelig Records, she’s now an independent artist. Inspired by Lady Gaga and Prince, she debuted with “Bullying Boys” in 2020.

Written at a Melbourne airport gate while she was feeling particularly blue, her new single tells her to wait it out until brighter times arrive. Injecting some danceable fun into a melody, the track starts with a retro-touched guitar and an bouncy beat, before releasing its sonic sparkles in the buoyant chorus. And with her crisp and impassioned vocals, this bubbly groove is definitely worth waiting for.

Alex Angelo – “Stuck”

Born in Florida and raised in Ohio, this singer songwriter, producer and DJ started dancing for the NBA basketball team Cleveland Cavaliers aged 7. At 10 he was DJing on his Dad’s iPad. Since he’s toured with artists like Carly Rae Jepsen, Austin Mahone and Pitbull and writes and produces songs for others. Inspired by Pharrell Williams and Childish Gambino, he debuted with his single “I Like U Too” in 2013.

Creating an enchanting, satiny soundscape, his new single takes a lyrical look back on a beautiful relationship which sadly has come to its conclusion. With just a mellow piano accompanying his emotion-laden vocals, this song is both heartwarming and heartfelt. Later joined by a soft beat and crisp guitar strums, it’s the gentle dulcet tones of this nostalgic smooth groove that will get stuck in your heart.
