Four years ago, this quartet of musicians met at London’s Royal Academy Of Music, where they were following classical training on various instruments. Influenced by the likes of Radiohead and Tame Impala, they first started with improvisation in search of their own distinctive sound. They headed to the studio with producer Adam Lunn, resulting in their debut single “Blue Light” in 2018.
Drifting off into a dreamy auditory experience, their third single shows off their wide-ranging songwriting mastery. The shine of the glossy synths, a bouncy beat and soothing harmonies guide you through their danceable dreampop world, while the polished, velvety vocals of frontman Oscar Gormley compliment the refreshingly sleek, illusory soundcape and creates a fanciful sonic gem.
