This Belgium-born singer and songwriter spent most of his life traveling the globe making music. Barely out of high school he moved to Japan and worked as a drummer. However, a passion for singing and songwriting took him to London, where he honed his skills. In 2016, back in Japan and influenced by artists like Sade, Jamiroquai and Michael Kiwanuka, he started on creating his debut album.
Taken from that inaugural album “Moving In Slow Motion”, released in 2019, his new single is a funkalicious upbeat party. Kicking off with an invigorating beat and 70s-styled wah-wah guitars giving the song some delicious retro flavors, it’s the playful handclaps and his crisp vocals joining all aural elements together. And with sweltering synths seasoning the groove, this is a thrilling funky stew.
