Denver-based husband and wife duo Patrick Riley and Alaina Moore met in 2008 at the University of Colorado, but didn’t start the band until after returning from an eight-month sailing expedition two years later. They debuted their retro lo-fi sound on their single “South Carolina” in 2010, released their first album “Cape Dory” in 2011 and set off on a world tour across the US, Europe and Russia.
Hoisting the sonic sails and cruising the auditory oceans, their new single is multi-faceted pop with a vintage vibe. Taken from their upcoming album “Swimmer”, expected to drop on February 14th, the riveting rhythm and playful piano set the mood for Alaina’s seductive, yet sassy vocals to drift over the 70s-touched melody and unexpected tempo changes, steering the tune to undiscovered realms.

This Italian busking duo, consisting of Enrico Morello aka The Fox and Alberto Della Rossa aka The Cat, discovered a shared passion for groggy whiskey and gritty blues. Taking a guitar, an empty whiskey flask and a contrabass to the streets, they play music from deep within their souls that can be felt in your gut. Just give them a meal or two and a Gin & Tonic and they’ll show you their hearts.
Touched by the pure passion of John Lee Hooker and the vast virtuosity of Jimi Hendrix, their new single takes the listener on a sonic journey through the musical legacy of the American south. Letting their slide guitar sing, their bass bounce and the rhythm reverberate, they soak their spirited, storytelling sounds in a dark whiskey haze and make this some authentic and powerful blue-eyed blues.
