In The Spotlight

Sarah Reeves – “Heart First”

Based in Nashville, this spiritual singer and songwriter finds the perfect balance between her worship roots and pop sensibilities, creating an one-of-a-kind contemporary Christian pop sound. She got her first record deal at 18 and toured heavily, but with songwriting being her first love, she also wrote songs for Natalie Grant and Kari Jobe. She released her debut EP “Sweet Sweet Sound” in 2009.

Hoping to inspire the listener to step out of their comfort zone and to take the chance to follow their dreams, regardless of the outcome, her new single grabs your ears and doesn’t let go. First with just the electric guitar, but soon it erupts with a relentless beat and shiny synths. And with her passionate vocals reaching new heights, you cannot help but to jump into her sonic world heart first.
