This Toronto-based Canadian quartet, consisting of Devon Richardson, Tom Ionescu, Jeff Giles and Zach Sutton, have been making music together since 2006. Formed while attending University, they began playing covers in packed clubs. Their original material is a colorful, evolving genre-spanning blend. They debuted with “The Garage Sessions” in 2009 and toured with Tom Odell, Arkells and Blue Rodeo.
Influenced by the rock music of the 60s and 70s, but with a neon-colored 80s coating, their new single shines warm summertime sunshine on their indie-rock sound. Singing about working through a relationship, instead of holding out for something better, they capture the feeling of naive youth. With slightly out-of-tune guitars and joyous party vibes, this tune is filled with happiness-inducing nostalgia.
