Previously known as Buffalo Jones, this Canadian singer, songwriter and musician got the music bug aged 5, when he was pulling the strings on his fathers guitar. Aged 12 he was performing with cover bands and at 16 he started writing songs influenced by blues, 50s, 60s and 70s bands and old-time westerns. Under his new name, he debuted his heartfelt country sound with “Rodeo” earlier this year.
Finding a perfect blend of folk and soul, dipped in a sea of contemporary country, his second single is an emotional rollercoaster. Singing about overcoming hardship and substance abuse, he narrates his blue tale both lyrically as musically. With a simple country guitar and a mild rhythm accompanying his emotive vocals, he forges an inspiring tune that touches your heart as well as stroke your ears.
