MT Jones – “In My Arms”

Sharing time between Liverpool and London, this British singer and songwriter started playing piano aged 8 and added songwriting at 13. Naturally drawn to 60s music, he’s inspired by music from The Beatles to the jazz of Ray Charles and the classic Motown soul of Stevie Wonder. He traveled the world as a musician and debuted his own soul-infused sound on “I Won’t Even Say Goodbye” in 2022.

Transporting your ears back to the glory years of soul, his new single is an honey-dipped smooth groove. With a mild percussion guiding the melody along and laid-back guitar adding a splash of color, it’s the luxuriant layers of breezy violins and sweet harmonies that blend together as a unified whole.
