Goldie Scott – “Mista Mystery”

Born as Stephanie Weisz, this New York-based singer and songwriter attended Syracuse University in 2018, studying TV, radio and film. However, as she was writing songs more than paying attention, she changed career paths. In 2019 she auditioned for American Idol and made it to Hollywood Week. Inspired by Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and Amy Winehouse, she debuted with “Desert Queen” in 2020.

Telling the story about meeting a stranger and realizing that they’re the one from your dreams, her new single wraps the romanticism in delicious nostalgic 70s-dipped vibes. Joan & The Giants – “Home Song”

Formed in 2019 by partners and longtime collaborators Grace Newton-Wordsworth and Aaron Birch, this Australian quartet created an organic and genuine folk-pop sound. Based in Perth and joined by members Riley Sutton and Liam Olsen, they’ve supported Odette on her 2019 tour and played stages such as the Nannup Music Festival in 2021. They released their debut single “Hold Me” in 2019.

Written as a love letter to Aaron during a period of loss, their new single captures the honesty of their emotions into the lyrics. Enveloping the words is sonic elegance and warmth from a smooth acoustic guitar, before injecting some oomph with a bouncy rhythm and ornate synths. And with her sweet, folky voice, this wave of deep-rooted love has a warm familiarity that sounds like coming home.

Charlie Winston – “Exile”

Born in Cornwall and raised in Suffolk, this British singer and songwriter started his career playing bass guitar for his brother Tom Baxter, as well as composing music for and performing in London-based contemporary theatre productions. In 2007 he supported Peter Gabriel on his European tour. Mostly finding his popularity in France, he’s released 6 albums, debuting with “Mischifus” in 2007.

Addressing the internal struggle of being an English artist who is popular in France, but unknown in his own country, his new single has an authentic lyrical vulnerability. Taken from his upcoming album “As I Am”, expected on August 26th, he blends a retro pop rhythm, a touch of folk and imposing orchestral violins with his stirring and emotive vocals and creates a truly magnificent sonic experience.

Emily Jean Flack – “Goldie”

Born in Ontario, this Canadian singer and songwriter was raised on the Celtic music from her mother, who is part of the Celtic-pop band Leahy. Her upbringing was therefore laced with traditional Irish music. She traveled to Ireland and studied music at the University Of Limerick. Inspired by the voices of Ella Fitzgerald, Celine Dion and Enya, she debuted with her single “Another Year Gone By” in 2018.

Loosely paying tribute to Goldie Hawn, her new single champions throwing caution to the wind, being yourself and dancing as much as possible. Musically she took her Celtic roots and built an entire castle of various sounds on top. With an insatiable disco rhythm throughout, it’s the retro pop elements, rich Irish violins and her celestial vocals, that make this groove sound exhilarating and fun.

Toby Sebastian – “Real Kicks”

Born in Oxford, but raised under the Spanish sun, this British singer, songwriter and actor first appeared on TV as a contestant on Orange unsignedAct in 2008. In 2012 he also started his succesful acting career, which included playing Trystane Martell in Games Of Thrones and famed vocalist Andrea Bocelli in the biopic The Music Of Silence. He released his debut album “Into The Light” in 2013.

Giving his own twist to the 70s songs her grew up with, from Fleetwood Mac to David Bowie, his new single takes a nostalgic roadtrip on the musical scales. Taking elements from folk, soul and pop and blending them into a breezy melody, it’s got this laid-back West-Coast sunlit sound from the easygoing guitars and mellow keys. And with his husky vocals, this groove captures freedom in every note.

Born as Summer Ferguson in Mesa, Arizona, this rising singer, songwriter and social media influencer had a passion for music from an early age. She initially gained popularity on Twitter and Instagram, before moving to Los Angeles aged 15 to pursue a musical career. Inspired by the likes of Whitney Houston, Phil Collins and Lady Gaga, she debuted her genre-defying sound on “Sus” in 2018.
