DYLYN – “Find Myself”

Born as Gwendolyn Lewis, this Canadian singer and songwriter grew up listening to her fathers 70s records. In her school years she listened to vintage rock music and started her own band aged 17. Initially exploring dubstep as Guinevere, she decided to return to rock. Influenced by Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, she debuted her new sound and moniker with her 2018 EP “Sauvignon And A Kimono”.

Drizzling a slight pop sauce over a generous slice of raw rock, her new single serves up a mighty auditory dish. Taken from her upcoming EP “Make It Naked”, expected in 2021, she manages to marry the smoky and stylish pop verses with the pure grit of the rock chorus. From the reverberating beat to the howling guitars and the fresh synth touches, this sonic experience is a rocking triumph.

Lauren Sanderson – “Frustrated”

A rebel on the music scene, this singer and songwriter started off being her own manager, booking her own first tour and recording her music in her bedroom closet. That dedication, passion and self-assurance shines through in her songs. She debuted with “Oceans” in 2015 and went on to open for FINNEAS on tour. Early 2020 she released her first full-length album “Midwest Kids Can Make It Big”.

Exploring both the dark and light corners of her synth-pop sound, her new single paints a powerful image of her search for the love she deserves. Reminiscent of Miley Cyrus and SZA, she manages to find an auditory balance between gloomy and hopeful. James Alphonse – “What Are We Doing Here”

While in his final year of High School in Ontario, this Canadian singer and songwriter received a devastating diagnosis that he thought would end his career. However, he did return to music and toured with different bands. Initially focused on rock, folk and jazz, he took inspiration from The Weeknd and Shawn Mendes and found his sound in pop/R&B. He debuted with “I’ll be Your Wall” in 2017.

Returning after a three year hiatus with an absolutely sparkling pop banger, his new single combines retro melodic elements with a bubbly modern production. With shimmering 80s synths, 90s electric guitars and joyous fingersnaps laying down a high-spirited groove, it’s his refreshingly perky vocals that put a bounce in your step. Romantically empowering, this is a jaunty, sunlit pop jam.

Leadley – “Summer Lovin'”

This British singer, songwriter, YouTuber and actress started writing lyrics aged 8 and her first full song aged 13. She started her career posting covers to YouTube. Her first EP, “New Kinda New”, was released in 2014 as Bethan Leadley. Also a TV presenter, she hosts The UK Music Video Chart on 4Music. Rebranded to her current moniker, she debuted a refreshed pop sound with “All Of You” in 2017.

Providing the perfect soundtrack for these hot summer days, her new single is a lively, sunlit bop. This Vienna-based singer and songwriter started his career as a street musician, honing his craft and uploading acoustic covers to YouTube. He played in several bands, both in Singapore as in Boston, USA, most recently in pop-rock outfit Doves & Ravens, with whom he released an album “Wonder” in 2016. Influenced by Bruno Mars and John Legend, he debuted solo with “Ghost” early this year.

With an infectious funky bounce and a touch of hiphop, his new single is an ingenious melting pot of musical influences. Expanding the retro beat with 90s R&B synths and playful fingersnaps adds an alluring nostalgic feel, while soaking it all with a splash of modern pop.
