Patternist – “I Don’t Feel Real”

Developed in the bedroom studio of songwriter and producer Gabe Mouer, the sound that goes hand in hand with his moniker is a construct of rhythm, percussion and lush pop arrangements to accompany hard-hitting lyrics covering topics from mental illness to drug-fueled hallucinations. He toured with artists like The Griswolds and Flor and debuted with his EP “Youth Is Fading” in 2014.

In preparation of releasing his debut full-length album “I Don’t Know What I’m Doing Here” on September 6, his latest single binds deep, existential lyrical narration with an easygoing, summery melodic ambience. Layered with a bouncy beat, sunshiny synths and airy guitar strums, the contemporary indie-pop sound gives it an upbeat pulse and with his boyish vocal tone, this jam is as real as it gets.

Olivia Rox – “It Girl”

This Californian girl was born to a singer/producer mom and musician dad. She’s graced the stage with her dad – saxophone legend Warren Hill – since the age of 2 and performed worldwide. Her life experiences and the influence of her unique musical environment are key elements in the prolific pop, rock, R&B and jazz inspired songwriting of this former American Idol 2016 contestant.

Having signed with Songbird Records, her debut single teases the release of her first, full-length album “PopRox”, to be released on September 19. Brimming with fresh, vibrant rays of sunshine, the song cleverly blends a funky rhythm and a 90s R&B opening with an upbeat 80s-like exuberant chorus and with her powerhouse, 4-octave vocal chops, this emerging star definitely has the it factor.

Albert Tales – “Tipsy”

Although nobody in the band is actually called Albert, this is an 8-piece Israeli funk band. They met while they all attended Music Academy and found a shared passion for creating funk music that matters. Writing, composing and performing their music together, they’ve created a groovy sound with inspiring lyrics, intended to make you dance. They recently signed with British label Freshly Squeezed.

With a delicious splash of funkadelic vibes, their debut single finds its way to your dancin’ feet. With a punchy rhythm and red-hot horns emblazoning the melody, the infectious chorus is downright ear-tingling. The heavy lyrical load about social anxiety is conveyed perfectly by the rich and sumptuous voice of vocalist Keren Siri. You’ll surely end up over the legal limit drinking this funky brew.

The Tribe Of Good – “Broken Toys”

Build around a quartet of producers, combined with an ever changing list of well-known featured musicians and singers, this London-based Music Collective takes a sonic journey across the genres. They debuted with their EP “Loving You Baby” in 2017. Finding inspiration in retro soul and disco, as well as 70s electro and 90s trip-hop, they’re currently putting the final touches on their debut album.

Paying tribute to the classic Motown sound of yesteryear, they enlisted the incredible voice of child-singer Eshan Gopal on their latest single. Melodically capturing a 60s-styled sunshiny exuberance, the happiness-inducing beat and joyous horns sound exhilarating, while the spirited, young Michael Jackson-like vocals truly make your heart sing, shaping a jam Berry Gordy himself would be proud of.

Halia Jack – “Waited Long Enough”

Lukas Setto – “OMG”

Born from a slew of different incarnations, such as Lee Henry and Tru Menace, comes this London-based singer, songwriter and producer’s latest moniker. Raised on a diet of Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder, he studied popular music at Stanmore College and won the Urban Music Award for Best Unsigned Artist. Debuting his new persona, he released “What Turns You On” in 2019.

His new single is brimming with delicious vintage soul, wrapped in a retro disco haze. The 80s vibe created by the bouncy beat, searing synths, disco strings and blazing brass is both enchanting as it is exhilarating.
