In The Spotlight

Judith Hill – “The Pepper Club”

The musical journey of this impressive Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter started when she wrote her first song aged 4. She went on to perform with legends such as Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson. Her life as a backup singer has also been featured in the 2013 award-winning documentary film “20 Feet From Stardom”. In 2015 she released her Prince-produced debut album “Back In Time”.

The first taster of her upcoming “Golden Child” album, which is expected to drop later this year, is an exhilarating 70s-soaked funkalicious night out. A vibrant bass and spicy guitar plucks introduce the red-hot, bounteous brass and a toe-tappin’ virulent rhythm for her fierce, electrifying, powerhouse vocals to flirt with, making it an impeccable funkadelic feast with infectious danceability.
