In The Spotlight

Albert Tales – “Tipsy”

Although nobody in the band is actually called Albert, this is an 8-piece Israeli funk band. They met while they all attended Music Academy and found a shared passion for creating funk music that matters. Writing, composing and performing their music together, they’ve created a groovy sound with inspiring lyrics, intended to make you dance. They recently signed with British label Freshly Squeezed.

With a delicious splash of funkadelic vibes, their debut single finds its way to your dancin’ feet. With a punchy rhythm and red-hot horns emblazoning the melody, the infectious chorus is downright ear-tingling. The heavy lyrical load about social anxiety is conveyed perfectly by the rich and sumptuous voice of vocalist Keren Siri. You’ll surely end up over the legal limit drinking this funky brew.
