PRVNA – “Fever”

This South-London soulstress of Mauritian descent wanted to be a singer since the age of 5. Having a knack for the academic and a lack of confidence led her down the education path, earning her two degrees. A soul searching trip to Peru in 2016 changed her life’s course. Influenced by legends like Etta James, Laura Marling and J Cole, she creates an honest fusion of R&B, soul and dance.

Combining 90s R&B with a poptastic footing and all wrapped in a silken jazzy atmosphere, her new single is sultry, smooth and seductive with a slice of attitude. The modernity of the electro handclaps and satiny synths is perfectly balanced with the vintage sounds of the piano and the breezy beat, while her sericeous and flirtatious vocals slowly turn up the soul heat to a feverish intensity.
