Anna Moon – “Tightrope”

Based in Nashville, this singer and songwriter thrives on highlighting the two distinct sides of her personality. She fell in love with music at theater camp aged 8 and performing her self-written songs in Atlanta bars aged 13. Marrying her jazz side with contemporary pop, she draws inspiration from Billie Holiday to Amy Winehouse and Dua Lipa, giving her buoyant sound an elegant edge.

Her debut single introduces her amazing musical blend of soul, vintage vibes and exhilarating pop in a spectacular manner. The ingenious use of the instruments, from the joyously mellow piano, to the bombastic rhythm in the chorus, the whole melody is intricately forged. And with her Duffy-reminiscent retro vocals with just a touch of grit, this melodious jam is filled with charisma and style.

Carlton Jumel Smith – “Love Our Love Affair”

This soul brother and actor grew up in New York listening to his mothers soul records of Wilson Pickett, Barry White and Aretha Franklin, however it was a James Brown concert at the Apollo that changed his life. Composing music in the tradition of the soul legends of yore, he’s performed all over the world. He’s also acted in a few movies such as “Liberty Heights” in 1999, portraying his childhood hero.

Sounding like a long lost sonic treasure, his new single pays homage to the glory days of Motown and Stax. Taken from his album “1634 Lexington Avenue”, named after the address of his childhood home, he personifies the vintage feel of classic soul. The mellow rhythm, breezy guitar strums and ear-stroking brass creates a timeless sound, while his raw, sensuous vocals give you something to love.
