This London-native singer and songwriter took to performing at the young age of 8. Over the years she sang in a gospel choir, been busking in the streets and attended the renowned BRIT school. Inspired by the music of Amy Winehouse and Lauryn Hill, she creates a culturally eclectic sound with down-to-earth lyrics. She’s also been on tour with Rudimental, all while honing her songwriting skill set.
Lyrically tackling a real-life argument and framed in a delectable smooth blend of pop and jazz, her new single is both honest as ear-stroking. Taken from her upcoming EP “OK Love You Bye”, expected to drop on November 22, she found the perfect balance between the relatable storyline and the sleek rhythm, gentle piano and her soulful vocals, creating a tune you don’t mind skipping the football for.
