Laura Llorens & The Shadows Of Love – “I Wanna Go Home”

Born in the USA, but now a true Parisian, this singer and songwriter started playing her folk-pop music in the Paris Metro in 2005. Since then, she released her debut EP “The Giving Tree” in 2010, followed by two full-length albums. After signing with renowned French soul label Q-Sounds Recording in 2018, she started working on a fresh new sound, joined by her backing band The Shadows Of Love.

Introducing her new soul stylings, her latest single is a delightful journey passing delicious soulful stops. With a mellow rhythm accompanying the 60s-touched organ sounds and some retro brass lighting the way, her folky voice is enveloped in soul-dripping passion. Taken from her upcoming bilingual album “Home/Chez Moi”, expected in February 2020, this is a rousing bit of musical mastery.

Evon Rose – “Something More”

Hailing from Vienna, this Austrian indie-rock quartet is centered around lead singer Andreas Shuster. Despite studying International Business in Australia, a life-altering event compelled him to share his music with the world. Influenced by the likes of Coldplay and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, they mix their rock sound with insightful lyrics. They debuted with their 2018 single “New Shores”.

Ascending from a mellow indie-pop ballad to an invigorating rock explosion, this incredible single shows the listener both ends of the auditory spectrum. Despite going from light strums to a blasting electric guitar chorus with ease, Andreas’ vocals feel right at home in both soundscapes. Lyrically focusing on life after death, this guitar-driven jam delivers fierce rock and so much more.
