In The Spotlight

Lulu Fall – “Between Two Worlds”

Based in New York, this multi-talented singer, award-winning songwriter and actor was born with a Senegalese and Cameroonian background. A trained jazz vocalist, she alternates between musical theatre and music. She’s performed in many on and off Broadway productions, like “HAIR” and “Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812”. She debuted her own sound on her 2009 EP “It’s Official”.

Her new single is an ingenious cornucopia of various cultural influences, blending together into a coherent brew of musical marvel. Kicking off with a revitalizing rhythm and her incredible fervent vocals, soon touches of afro-beat, jazz and funky horns are fusing as one bracing, anthemic powerhouse and shapes an honest and awe-inspiring melodic account of two diverse worlds colliding.
