Flight Facilities ft. Aloe Blacc – “Better Than Ever”

Formed in Sydney in 2009, this is an award-winning Australian duo, consisting of Hugo Gruzman and James Lyell, which focuses their talents on electronic music production. They first gained attention in 2010 with their single “Crave You” featuring Giselle Rosselli. They’ve played festivals like SXSW and Coachella and saw their debut full-length album “Down To Earth” earn gold status in 2014.

This time employing the astounding vocal cords of Aloe Blacc, their new single takes their electronic production into the world of soulful pop. With a pounding beat, gospel-like handclaps and a touch of added vocoder effects, it’s an invigorating feel-good pop track, dripping with passionate vintage soul. Blending gripping vocals with a joyous melody, they are definitely better than ever.
