Lennixx – “Look In My Eyes”

Based in Stockholm and consisting of Hanna Larsson and Andrea Kallström, this Swedish duo of friends first met at a dance school and discovered a shared interest in music. Initially performing under the name Hanna & Andrea, they debuted with “Always On My Mind” in 2016. Influenced by SZA, Frank Ocean and Amy Winehouse, they debuted their new moniker and R&B blend on their EP “Hapap” in 2018.

Exploring the courage it takes to dive into love and the magical feeling of giving over to it completely, their new single is a delicious, jazz-infused R&B smooth groove. With a mellow percussion, balmy keys and warm guitars shaping a rich, sweltering soundscape, it’s their honey-dipped, harmonious vocals adding a seductive vibe that makes this intoxicating tune sound utterly scrumptious.

Waiting For Smith – “Skylight Dawn”

London-born and Amsterdam-based, British singer and songwriter Harry Lloyd named his project after his original drummer who always failed to show up. Although he loved music from an early age, he became a ski instructor in the French Alps instead. After an accident broke his back, he chose music full-time. Inspired by James Brown, JJ Cale and Leonard Cohen, he debuted with “Roma” in 2017.

Shining a light on the push and pull of love and its effect on mental health, his new single blends inspirational lyrics with an euphoric melody. Taken from his upcoming EP “Trying Not To Try”, this track ascends from a mellow piano to a rousing chorus with a rolling percussion and choral backing singers. And with his impressive, emotive vocal skills, this indie-pop tune is filled with a stirring intensity.
