Navvy – “Till You’re Ready”

Born as Phoebe Lee Jasper in Auckland, this New Zealand singer, songwriter and producer started taking classical lessons as a child and began singing opera. Expanding her skills, she studied pop music at Auckland University. Now based in London, she’s worked with Zara Larsson and opened for Maisie Peters. Inspired by Taylor Swift and The Beach Boys, she released her debut “Subliminal” in 2021.

Telling her own, personal story about the expectations of her move to London, her new single is an exuberant slice of sparkling pop. Starting slow, with a gentle beat, mellow synths and some cheeky fingersnaps, the track erupts with a joyous buoyancy in the chorus. With an infectious rhythm and her delightfully jubilant vocals filling you with an energetic bounce, this is an exhilarating, catchy tune.
