In The Spotlight

JONES – “Something Bout Our Love”

Singer/songwriter JONES was born and raised in London and grew up with the sounds of soul and R&B. She burst onto the music scene back in 2015 with the release of her debut EP “Indulge”. This was followed by the release of her debut full-length album “New Skin” a year later. Describing her style, she draws comparisons to artists who merge electronic pop and soul, like The XX and Lykke Li.

She’s putting the emphasis on a danceable synth-pop sound on her latest single. Produced by electro-house producer TIEKS, it has a highly infectious beat and sweltering synth action.  Her soul-filled voice has a captivating ethereal quality, which sounds refreshing and promises great things for her upcoming album, to be released early 2018.
