In The Spotlight

Vanessa Jay Mulder – “Magic Love”

Born in Suriname, raised in The Netherlands and now living in Italy, this globetrotting singer, songwriter and dancer has already made quite an impression on the music scene. She appeared as a dancer in music video’s of DeBarge and Raf and opened concerts for Lauryn Hill and Rita Marley. Her new album is an eclectic journey through the different genres she feels inspired by.

Her exhilarating new single is an explosion of bounteous classic 70s disco grooves, filled to the brim with highly addictive beats, velvety violins, vintage bells and distinctive, powerful vocals, reminiscent of Chic, Donna Summer and Chaka Khan. From the first beat it transports the listener to a multi-colored lighted dance-floor under a glitterball with its discolicious jubilance.
