In The Spotlight

Jerry Williams – “Grab Life”

Hailing from Portsmouth, UK, this 21 year old singer/songwriter has been writing music since she was 12 years old and studied classical guitar. She released and self-funded 3 EP’s, the latest being “Let’s Just Forget It” from 2016 which won Best Produced Release at the Unsigned Music Awards. Next year she is going to be performing on the SXSW and The Great Escape music festivals.

Co-written by Nick Atkinson, who also wrote songs for Boyzone and Gabrielle Aplin, Jerry‘s latest single is an upbeat and beautifully constructed pop song. It has well-rounded instrumentation, with playful guitar plucks, an addictive beat, a surprising electric guitar bridge and her beguiling happiness-inducing vocals, which encourages the listener to live life to the full.
