In The Spotlight

Lauren Carnahan – “Criminal”

This young singer/songwriter from Oklahoma started writing her own music when she was 9 years old and has been singing all her life. She’s also a multi-instrumentalist, playing ukulele, guitar and piano. Since 2014 she’s released two self-penned EP’s, “Out Of Nowhere” in 2014 and “Unbreakable” in 2016. Her sound is contemporary electronic pop and is marked by her impressive vocal range.

For her latest single she traveled to Boston to work with producers Jason Strong and Giulio Cercato. It’s an anthemic dance track, build upon her signature pop sound. With copious ingenious hooks, infectious dance beat, lavish harmonies and her impressive vocal gymnastics, it’s an exciting exploration of her unbridled talent as an artist and songwriter.
