Alyza – “Don’t Ya”

Born as Elisa Critti Kronholm, this Swedish vocalist, songwriter and producer grew up with a love for music and performing and, at the age of 14, realized she had a talent for it. Years of music studies followed, in which she honed her songwriting skills. She is a true independent artist, who handles her own management and releases her perky soul & funk blend through her own record label.

First teasing with a bouncy bass and some dashing drums, her debut single soon shows its true funkalicious nature. Bursting with riveting horns, blazing their bustling vibes all over the melody and creating a rousing retro feel, this funky tune is overflowing with an excess of exuberance. And with an added lavishness of her spirited, soul-soaked vocals tickling the senses, this is a high-energy funky gem.

Marcus King – “Wildflowers & Wine”

Despite only being in his early twenties, this singer and songwriter has one on the most remarkable soul voices around. Hailing from Greenville, South-Carolina, he was brought up on blues and performed as a teen alongside his father, fellow bluesman Marvin King. Also a gifted blues guitarist, he is the front man of The Marcus King Band, which debuted with their 2015 album “Soul Insight”.

Musically describing a roadtrip to see a girl and stopping along the way to get a bottle of wine and pick wildflowers, his new single is a smooth slice of vintage soul. Taken from his upcoming solo album “El Dorado”, expected on January 17, 2020, it combines gospel influences, an emotional blues guitar and the rawness of his soul-drenched voice to create one of the most spectacular sonic experiences.
