In The Spotlight

Colony House – “Original Material”

Named after an apartment building in Franklin, TN, where all band members lived at some point in their lives, this indie-rock quartet hit the music scene with their debut single “Silhouettes” in 2014, becoming SiriusXM’s most played track for 4 months. Consisting of Caleb Chapman, Will Chapman, Scott Mills and Parke Cottrell, the four-piece band are preparing a 2020 American and European tour.

Taken from their upcoming album “Leave What’s Lost Behind”, expected on January 24th, their new single takes the best from rock and pop and dunks it into a bubbly, infectious dip. With a driving beat, splashing guitars and an incredibly catchy hook painting the auditory imagery, their sparkling vocals narrate the lyrical story with glossy gusto, making this an irresistibly dazzling indie-rock jam.
