In The Spotlight

Weathers – “Always Tired”

When vocalist Cameron Boyer and guitarist Cameron Olsen met in 2012 at a Battle Of The Bands in Manhattan Beach, there was a musical spark. With the addition of bassist Brennen Bates and drummer Cole Carson, the band was formed in 2015. They debuted their empassioned indie-pop sound with the single “I Don’t Wanna Know” in 2016 and have toured with Saint Motel and Nothing But Thieves.

Showcasing their wide-ranging array of rich, inventive musicality and honest, relatable lyricism, their new single shines a light on exhaustion and burnouts. Dipped in retro pop-rock tones and driven by a buoyant beat, this tune blends sizzling synths, fervent guitars and well-placed pauses to use melody as well as lyrics to tell the story and make this a perfectly balanced jam you won’t get tired of.
