In The Spotlight

Kylie Rothfield – “Too Late”

Born in Danville, California, this singer, songwriter and self-taught guitarist wrote her first song at the age of 12. She attended Berklee College Of Music in Boston, winning several prestigious awards. Now based in Nashville, she opened for Betty Who and Lisa Loeb with her soul, blues and pop blend. She debuted with “Like You Should” in 2015 and appeared on The Voice in 2016 on Alicia Keys’ team.

Dipping the honest lyricism about the struggle to break through in the music industry in a breezy, guitar-driven soundscape, her new single is a lush, ear-stroking groove. Going from a smooth, airy vibe to the upbeat, summery chorus, it takes to listener on an auditory roadtrip. With the addition of an exultant rhythm and her enthralling voice floating on the melody, she shows it’s never too late.
