In The Spotlight

Sierra Ferrell – “The Sea”

Hailing from a small town in West-Virginia, this spellbinding singer and songwriter left home in her early 20s to travel the country with a troupe of nomadic musicians. After years living in her van and busking on the streets, she’s now based in Nashville. Having created an original blend of classic country, jazz, cabaret and show tunes, she released her debut single “Jeremiah” in 2020.

Adding a touch of bluegrass and rousing gypsy jazz to her already unique amalgamation of diverse genres, her new single binds passion, fun and an intoxicating buoyancy into one stunning jam. Taken from her upcoming album “Long Time Coming”, expected August 20th, she combines Django Reinhardt-style guitar and a country steel guitar to accompany her exquisite voice bringing an ode to the sea.
