Escape Ring – “Winning The War”

Hailing from Melbourne, this Australian band is a musical project around songwriter and vocalist Darren Moss. They’ve already had songs featured on NBC’s TV show “The Biggest Loser”. Drawing inspiration from performers such as The Beatles, REM, Fleetwood Mac and The Beach Boys, they’ve created a lush, one-of-a-kind harmonic rock mix. They debuted with their single “All The Way” in 2021.

Lyrically overcoming the voices in your head, that tell you you’re no good, their new single is actually bursting with positivity. Overall dipped in vintage vibes taken from a myriad of influences, it amalgamates into a jubilant sonic experience. Generally reminiscent of 90s pop/rock bands, it’s the added 70s harmonies, infectious exuberance and soulful horns that make this vibrant tune win our hearts.

Hunter Moreau – “Sleepyhead”

Born in a seaside town near Cape Cod, this American singer and songwriter started taking voice lessons aged 8 and became part of local singing group Showstoppers aged 12, performing at charities, festivals and nursing homes for six years. Influenced by the likes of Stevie Nicks, Harry Styles and Frank Ocean, she forged a sound that’s uniquely hers. She released her debut “Drive In” in November 2019.

Illuminating the soundscape with sunlit charm and some feel-good vibes, her new single navigates the games your mind can play on you. Instantly gripping thanks to the infectious beat, the track soon evolves into an electro-pop gem, doused in a Fleetwood Mac-like retro haze. And with her honey-dipped, intoxicating vocals leading us deeper into her sonic realm, this lush jam is a total dream.
